The brand new Nocturne album, after six years of silence. Those intervening years were filled with live performances, integrating a new repertoire of structured pieces, constructed during relentless daily studio work. It is also the first album where Saphi is joined by Cécile. Six years was necessary to progress in the path that their music took. 12 pieces with a new lyrical focus (read, declaimed, whispered, shouted or simply screamed). Nocturne's gaze on the world isn't exactly driven by optimism, and its music and lyrics are affected by this... a kind of "industrial realism". A world where everything that was once the scenery (physical and psychological) of men's lives has been ruthlessly degraded, disfigured, destroyed, in favour of an ugly and hostile uniformity, cold and mechanical, clinical and functional, inspiring only dread and a feeling of isolation, of dispossession. Ltd x 300 copies in a 6" sleeve.
