The Vomit Arsonist is a solo industrial music project from Rhode Island, USA, created and run by Andrew Grant.
It specializes in dark, bleak, and oppressive sounds centered on Death Industrial and Power Electronics

Early work was raw and noise-oriented. Over time it evolved into more cinematic, layered,
and immersive Death Industrial featuring heavy drones, distorted vocals,
scrap metal percussion, programmed rhythms, and dynamic shifts between intensity and minimalism.
The core themes are deeply nihilistic: despair, loneliness, existential dread, self-destruction, and human futility.
Grant has stated he aims to create music that leaves listeners feeling bad — evoking desolation and hopelessness.
It is intentionally and consistently bleak rather than purely cathartic.

He is one of the veterans who has been active in the American underground industrial scene for many years.
Starting with an early noise-oriented style, he gradually evolved in his own unique way to pursue “the dark music he loves,”
garnering support from Death Industrial fans both in Japan and abroad. While his sound is extremely dark and not for everyone,
its immersive quality and consistent philosophy are what make it so compelling.
