This release, comprising four tracks, embodies Regosphere’s signature sound, unfolding with surging sub-bass, metallic grinding, sustained tension, and ethereal, drifting electronic noise. True to the title "What You Owe Us," the work powerfully conveys emotions of reckoning, retribution, resignation, and rage. "1312 Winter Fires," in particular, evokes anti-establishment imagery, while "Sonar Ghost Drift" is defined by cold, sonar-like electronic tones and a ghostly, drifting atmosphere. Regosphere has long established a solid reputation within the underground industrial and death-industrial scenes, actively collaborating with both domestic and international acts—such as Contagious Orgasm. Their consistent, dark, and unsettling aesthetic ensures a level of quality that fans of the genre can rely on.
Regosphere is an American death-industrial / dark ambient noise project based in Seattle, founded and solely operated by Andrew Quitter. The project officially started in 2007 as the successor to Quitter’s earlier harsh noise project Suburbia Melting (active from the mid-1990s). He also runs the DumpsterScore Home Recordings label.
Regosphere is defined by its self-described style “Anxiety-Electronics.”
The result is mechanical and icy yet deeply psychological. The tracks create a heavy, claustrophobic atmosphere full of tension, anxiety, and emotional weight rather than pure noise chaos.
