Merzbow/Smegma - Plays CD
¥1,800
Helicopter, HEL 99094 Troniks, TRO-344 Release Date: June 9, 2023 Available for the first time as the artists originally intended! In their first collaborative album, influential outsider artists Merzbow and Smegma traded source material through the mail – from Japan to the USA, from the USA to Japan – to craft a mesmerizing mix of surreal-concrète electronics, handmade instrumentation, unconventional sound art, and hypnotic blast & clatter. Released during a staggering time of Merzbow’s legendary output – the same year as Pulse Demon, Oersted, Spiral Honey, and Rainbow Electronics 2 – Plays stands alone as a stunning and idiosyncratic entry in both artists’ discographies. Remastered & re-authored by John Wiese, the material is now presented for the first time as the artists envisioned: the material carefully separated into a multitude of distinct tracks with the disc intended to be played on shuffle to create unique compositions & juxtapositions with every listen. On the first pressing in 1996, the manufacturer only created 2 tracks, which was never corrected… until now! Packaged in a limited edition 4-panel digipak with new layout. Celebrating 50 years of Smegma! Smegma began in Pasadena, California in 1973. Over time, Smegma (a take on the name Magma) developed a so-called ‘primitive suburban folk’ approach to music. Most Smegma members moved to Portland, Oregon in 1975, while at the same time becoming involved with the Los Angeles Free Music Society (LAFMS), to which they contributed LPs, cassettes and visual art. Merzbow is a Japanese artist who has been active since 1979. Over the course of his career, Merzbow has become one of the most prolific and influential figures in experimental music, creating an extensive discography encompassing over 500 releases.

Smegma/Merzbow - XCIII CD
¥1,800
Helicopter, HEL 99095 Troniks, TRO-345 Release Date: June 9, 2023 More than 25 years after their first partnership, international collaborators Smegma and Merzbow reunite for an all-new album that pushes the conceptual springboard of random composition generation even further. Consisting of two movements spread over 93 tracks, XCIII presents a collage of abstract electronics, unconventional instruments, reel to reel tape manipulation, loops and effects, best experienced in unique combinations on shuffled play. The first movement, Climactic Gruesome Costumes (whose title is an anagram of Play’s “Electro Smegmacoustic Music”), was composed using source sounds provided by Smegma and Merzbow, while the second movement, Reanimated, was composed at Smegma’s Studio using Merzbow tracks, Smegma tracks, and more. Packed in a limited edition 6-panel digipak with cover art by Ju Suk Reet Meate, Oblivia, and John Wiese. Celebrating 50 years of Smegma! Smegma began in Pasadena, California in 1973. Sado Vision - Self-Titled CD Digipak
¥2,400
Re-edition of the legendary tape out in 1995 on ALLEGORICAL TAPES and OLD EUROPA CAFE. SADO VISION was a very obscure, S/M & fetishist industrial project from Italy. Clearly inspired by erotic transgressions they attracted the attention of admirers of the most radical and provocative industrial sound. Leaded by the Milanese Luca Leuca (aka Leucon) and the unidentified Reverend K, Sado-Vision transformed the concept of studio recording, giving life to real performances in which create musical compositions. Thanks to the crazy attitude of Anjela Water, who defined herself as a "bodysound artist", and the contribution of the keyboardist Vibran D, the vocalist C.L.. Hysteria, and the technical help of Valmat, Leucon put together enough energy to create his first project, released in 1995 with the simple title "Sado Vision". The pounding rhythms, the strident frequencies, the electronic clangs that run through and accompany the thin thread of the story were entirely produced using voice and the body, filtering and processing each sound with digital processors and reassembling everything in an anarchically organic way. A very good example in the industrial-experimental scene of what can be produced in a studio without using traditional instruments. CD comes in a DVD-Sized Digipak in a limited edition of 300 copies. Co-released with Old Europa Cafe, we will stock just 150 copies! 2024年4月18日リリースTribe Tapes / Old Europa Cafe https://tribetapes.bandcamp.com/album/sado-vision TRIBE TAPES / TRIBE 055

Dead Door Unit - Abandon CD Digipak
¥2,000
Philadelphia-based K. Geiger is active under the guises of Dead Door Unit, Master Grave Services, and his imprint French Market Press producing ultra-limited noise tapes (often 7 copies or less) in unusual packaging that echoes labels like Sound Probe or SFCR. "Abandon" brings with it a refinement in style differentiating itself from early cassettes like "Laugh At The Devil". While I once described that release as reminiscent of an embryonic Prurient, this debut disc is both an evolution and a purely singular effort. Dead Door Unit - Laugh At The Devil Cassette
¥1,500
Dead Door Unit is the alias of Northeastern US artist Ken Geiger. The project follows in an exploratory vein of tape-recorded junk noise and field recordings. "Laugh At The Devil" is a work raucously out-of-time, bringing to mind the murk of mid-aughts Hanson releases or even the obscure malice of Dom Fernow's earlier work. Geiger breeds a fresh perspective through destruction and reassembly; "desperation." Transparent red C62 cassette professionally duplicated in real-time with full-body sticker labels and 4-panel red paper insert. 2022年10月21日リリース https://tribetapes.bandcamp.com/album/laugh-at-the-devil

SUTCLIFFE JUGEND - Blue Rabbit CD
¥1,500
Crucial Blast (アメリカ) リリースCD 6-panel digipak. Power Electronics / Experimental "Blue Rabbit" unfolds like a night-terror across the album's eight tracks. A seething quasi-ambient nightmare that lingers with the listener, enhanced in it's creep factor by the unsettling paintings from Sutcliffe Jugend's Kevin Tomkins that make up the album art. You won't find any of SJ's trademark power electronics sound here, more unsettling experience, heavy with an atmosphere of doom and smoldering violence, as if Sutcliffe Jugend sought to channel the creaking dread of Nurse With Wound's "Salt Marie Celeste" through a series if blood-freezing psychosexual nightmares. http://crucialblast.bandcamp.com/track/blue-rabbit

Black Vault - Hymns To The Great Devourer CD
¥2,000
ドイツのDunkelheit Produktionenリリース Prepare to be devoured. Black Vault, a new formation dedicated to pitch-black Ritual Industrial, present „Hymns to the Great Devourer“. Steeped in dark occult traditions and sinister antihumanism, this Danish act remains loyal to the virtues of the subgenre while still maintaining a neat refreshing take. It is rare that this style is pulled off as well as here. Minimalistic frequencies of necrophile Death Worship, gurgling demonic vocals and stylish percussive elements blend together in a Maelström of devotion and frenzy. Both the lyrics and the overall feel are a testimony to Black Vault's insights into the forbidden lore and practices shunned and condemned by the general public. Those who know, know. „Hymns to the Great Devourer“ delivers exactly what it promises. Many may think of some of the triumphs from the old Cold Meat Industry roster or similar big names from Scandinavia, but Black Vault are certainly no copycats. The atmosphere is absolutely on-point and the album is nothing short of crushing. Get this, if you dare!

SCATMOTHER - VIVIKTA CD
¥2,000
ドイツのDunkelheit Produktionenリリース Scatmother is a name that will finally establish a mark in the history of German Noise & Power Electronics, being carved in the memory and mind of the morbid, a step further, even deeper. „Vivikta“ follows the footprints left by „Sadotantra“, the previous album, with its distinct blend of old school Power Electronics and heavy Industrial virtues. All this forces you, as a listener, to fall down on your knees and shake your head until you collapse in front of the sheer structure and aggression that is fully displayed here. Maybe less harsh and piercing than previous outputs but definitely more brutal and heavy. „Insekten aus Glas und Metall“, the fourth track, for instance, sounds as if one person is vandalizing an entire room until nothing but dust remains. Juicy and odd penetration of the buttons from lower, more mid paced, disturbing levels up to the maximum and full force assault on the audial senses. Lyrically it focuses on a blend of Eastern Spirituality and deep ecology, and its concept is hostile and antagonistic towards humanity, praising the detachment of mundane life, an elitist and outcast lifestyle. It feeds on the figures and thoughts of Charles Manson, Julius Evola, Buddha and Ernst Jünger to reinforce its concept and inspire the creation of „Vivikta“. Play at ear stabbing volume!

WOMB11 "(-)" + Poster, CD
¥2,000
ドイツのDunkelheit Produktionenリリース Womb11 is rancid and decomposed Nekro Industrial unleashing its debut album on Dunkelheit Produktionen. This man hails from the bleak and desolate wastelands of Russia and in many ways the sounds reflect this hostile environment. Slow and churning dark throbs, clatters and sound waves form a cobweb of deathlust and dark magick. One thing that is especially striking is the analogue nature of the music. Classic Industrial weaponry like the MS10 live up to their long-lasting legacy and the deep and full waves interact with percussion created with real bones and human remains. There is a feeling of minimalism and trancelike repetition that is mastered skillfully, reminding the listener of absolute classics like Zero Kama, Halo Manash and Korpses Katatonik. There is no doubt that Womb11 revels in death worship and anything sinister and macabre. The tracks find a very unique space located somewhere between Ritual and Death Industrial while maintaining a lot of character and refreshingly unmodern approaches. Experience Womb11 and be dragged down into fields of death and the stench of opened graves

SA BRUXA - Ritual, CD
¥2,000
ドイツのDunkelheit Produktionenリリース Sa Bruxa is most certainly a name that any true connaisseur of sonic art should have heard by now. Since 2016, Italian artist Guiseppe Novella has been releasing high quality releases dedicated to the dark sonic art of ritual industrial and ancient truths of spiritual achievement. The new full-length „Ritual“ presents not only another landmark in their discography, but also many new interesting aspects. First of all, Sa Bruxa's craftsmanship must definitely be acknowledged. „Ritual“ appears as a complex and nifty arrangement of different styles, blending ritual bells and chants with slow drones and ambient soundwaves, while also including throbs and oscillations usually found in the murky past of Death Industrial. However, „Ritual“ is by no means an uninspired genre mix, but an intelligent and stringent work of sonic sorcery that truly transcends genre boundaries and creates something new (and arguably better). Throughout the play time of over an hour, the listener constantly gets the impression that something new is waiting just around the corner, building up on past elements and blending the old with the new. A truly marvellous sonic journey. It is not too far fetched to state that those who are aware of the most ambitious ritual Industrial projects like Shibalba, Phurpa or Halo Manash would instantly recognise certain elements of theirs in the current Sa Bruxa output. Organic sounds of water and air mixed with ritual instruments conjure up a feeling of sincere spirituality and the compositions flow nicely, making „Ritual“ a tad more consumable than some more obscure projects, but by no means one-sided. A true beast of an album and an absolutely essential buy!

Grimoire De Occulte - Sinister Rituals CD
¥2,000
ドイツのDunkelheit Produktionenリリース Grimoire de Occulte, consisting of Baal and Philosoph, have left their days of Death Metal behind them and cement their Ritual music with their new full-length „Sinister Rituals“. One lengthy track with a lot of variation and atmosphere that will please even the staunchest of critics. One of the most convincing traits of Grimoire de Occulte's new release is the physicality of the sounds. Cymbals introduce the listener to the contained „Sinister Rituals“, mediatative percussion forms a solid narration and analogue synthesizers sputter verses from an inhuman chthonic sphere of transformation. The build-up is impressively crafty and there is always something happening and changing in this long piece, which flows like a solid album. It is no surprise that tibetan instruments and other fashioned from human bone were used alongside the analogue electronics and percussive instruments. Fans of experimental Noise will also appreciate the highly organic samples and textures that pop between the deep and soothing drones and the overall feel of creepy transgression and ecstasy. One is sometimes reminded of the glorious days of Nekrophile Records or the current cream of the crop such as Halo Manash or Haare. Grimoire de Occulte's „Sinister Rituals“ is a must-buy and one of the best Ritual Industrial albums of the recent years.

Apex Parasite - Erosion Of The Will CD
¥2,000
ドイツのDunkelheit Produktionenリリース Fans of radical Power Electronics beware- Apex Parasite is on the rise! Presenting their debut, APEX PARASITE are here to show that they mean business. The sound is clearly situated on the harsher side of the spectrum, offering aggressive crackles and throbbing basslines in perfect interaction. Commanding upfront vocals spew absolute contempt and under all of this, there is a certain sickness and darkness that has made Northern Europe the homeland of fierce Post Mortem sounds. Apex Parasite offers refreshing balls to the wall brutality which could be compared to the past Highlights by Green Army Fraction or the leading figures of the German Heavy Electronics tradition. Highly recommended to those Who are still able to grasp the essence of Cultural Terrorist Power Electronics and celebrate its long gone happiness.

Scatmother/Chaos Cascade - The Insignificance Of Human Life CD
¥2,000
ドイツのDunkelheit Produktionenリリース Scatmother and Chaos Cascade do it again! 4 years after they unleashed their first Act of Noise Terrorism, these two Tyrants of German Brutality return with "The Insignificance of Human Life". No Introduction and Explanation is needed- expect nothing but Fierceness and Chaos. Scatmother analyses the profane Aspects of worldly Nihilism. Self-Hatred, Drug Addiction, Self-harm and Harakiri - Worship of Death and Demise. The Compositions are based on a Harsh Crunch reminiscent of Acts like Vomir, Werewolf Jerusalem and the early Days of Filth and Violence, while staying faithful to the ever-expanding Formula of Harsh Noise Power Electronics that defines Scatmother. After the initial Exercise in suicidal Grimness, Realms of Cosmic Horror unfold and Chaos Cascade takes over. Black Waves of Distortion and Feedback narrated by demonic Vocals , the Sonic Equivalent of Faceless Lovecraftian Entities determined on total Annihilation. The Tracks are a Tad more unhinged than the ones featured on the previous Side, but are still grounded on classic analogue PE virtues. "The Insignificance of Human Life" is not your nowadays Hipster- and liberal University compatible good Boy "Noise" supporting the current Trend. It is another work of Ugliness and Spite intended for the very few

JENNE888 - MOTHER Tape
¥1,500
ドイツのDunkelheit Produktionenリリース Jenne888 is a newcomer to the scene and presents great electronica with his debut release „Mother“. Despite not having any previous output to show, this short but sweet tape is an instant win. Refined Ambient soundscapes are paired up with tasty and full analogue Synthesizer sounds, causing an orgasmic marriage of sounds. Despite the free-flow of Jenne888's material, patterns and loose melodies appear at just the right time, just to be reabsorbed into the wavering lake of thick oscillation. Absolutely mandatory for anyone interested in classy electronic music!
