LOGOS - II Tape
¥1,500
ドイツのDunkelheit Produktionenリリース Occult and sinister sounds from Russia emerge once again! After stirring the water with the debut album of Womb11 and his first tape as Logos, the anonymous mastermind from Pskov presents another treat for those very few still able to grasp the essence of true outsider art. „II“ is another exercise in skillful minimalism and another great success. Crunchy walls dig through tormented flesh and there is always something going on. Distant crackles, harsh fuzz and an overall feeling of manual and hands-on craftiness. It feels like the audial interpretation of a graverobber unearthing charred remains for sinister practices. Two tracks, one longer and one short, form the core of Logos' new opos. Feedback, slow-burning Noise and clattering sing the proud hymn of a long forgotten future of Industrial heritage. Once again, a release not to be missed!

¥1,500
ドイツのDunkelheit Produktionenリリース Prepare yourselves as Dodssang Tempel is unleashed. Under these static Assaults, the Listener will find fine Interactions and Patterns of Sound dancing like Witches on Samhain while still presenting pure audial bloodstained Vomit. Not for Trendies. Dodssang Tempel proves that the Underground is alive and the Black Flame can never be extinguished.

SAPROS - AESTHETIC OF DEATH tape
¥1,500
ドイツのDunkelheit Produktionenリリース Aesthetic of Death comes creeping in slow but harsh monoliths of pure blackness. Indebted to the rich Tradition of Harsh Noise Wall, this new Outfit offers 4 lengthy tracks that should bring absolute bliss to the aficionados. A strong occult vibe runs through the dense and claustrophobic pieces, evoking feelings of Decay and timeless Evil. There are, of course, the heavy crackles and Bass frequencies hint towards Vomir and the Rita, but there is also a certain development and buildup that provides sufficient identity to Aesthetics of Death. Some may even notice the buzzing death synths that made the Italian pioneers masters of Death Industrial Occult Death Worship and Harsh Noise Wall - a match made in heaven. Strongly recommended!

GOD IS WAR & ANDREW NOLAN – The Hunt CS
¥2,000
Scream & Writhe (kanada)リリースカセット God Is War the Los Angeles-based artist and producer a.k.a. Mack Chami joins forces with Toronto-based Andrew Nolan (Intensive Care, Column of Heaven, The Endless Blockade) for The Hunt, and stretch boundaries into oblivion without compromise. Friends and occasional collaborators for over a decade, throughout 2022, they assembled The Hunt, pooling their respective talents into one vision. “Andrew brings order to my chaos,” notes Mack. “I’ll do my glitchy stuff, and he’ll pick out the parts he likes the most and makes them more cohesive. I feel like we’re pushing forward by using more unconventional electronic music approaches to create a dark and heavy electronic mashup of dubstep, IDM, and hip-hop,” Continuing this line of thought Andrew observes “the origins of industrial, power electronics, techno, dub, and hip hop all have similar stories when it comes to technology; people repurposing cheap consumer electronics to create new forms and expressions and building genres out of these experiments. Why not apply hip hop sampling techniques to feedback? Why not process drums like you’re making a noise record?” The result of this cross-pollination is a harrowing détournement of contemporary electronic music’s utopianism, presenting the listener with a post-apocalyptic dubstep, a vision of a block party after the oil runs out. The title track “The Hunt” illustrates the power of their alchemy. The production booms with a cavernous rumble, leaving space for New Villain of No Face Krew to stalk the rhythm with incisive rhymes on the record’s sole vocal passage. “It’s the hardest track on the album,” Mack states. “Andrew, New Villain, and I are gentlemen who aren’t just sitting around hoping that something takes off. We’re all very active in music. As we continue to get our footing more, it’s like our hunts get meaner and meaner. You don’t just hunt once in a lifetime; you hunt for a lifetime.” Speaking of hunting, the duo bare their teeth on the industrialized soundscape architecture of “I Paint Houses.” Menace seeps through the cracks between the bludgeoning beat-craft as the title nods to a phrase from Martin Scorsese’s epic The Irishman.“The whole idea of painting houses is you shoot someone and blood sprays on the wall,” he reveals. “I make music that embodies those darker vibes.” In the end, The Hunt unapologetically pulls audiences into the unknown. “I’m hoping this can inspire other folks to look at a new way of making beats.” Mack concludes.

RUSALKA – Base Waters CD
¥1,800
Scream & Writhe (kanada)リリースCD Kate Rissiek has been a mainstay of the west coast Canadian harsh noise scene for over a decade now and "Base Waters" comes nearly seven years after Rusalka's initial involvement with Absurd Exposition ("Blood Comes Anyway", 2013). Within those years a line can be traced that has continued to tighten around a formidable body of work - from solo releases on stalwart labels such as New Forces, to splits with the likes of MK9 and THE RITA on Neural Operations, and a compilation appearance on heavy electronics powerhouse Tesco Organization. "Base Waters" showcases an artist dedicated to their craft and at the top of their game. However, if anything is evident during Rusalka's past eleven years, it is that "peak performance" negates the fact that there are still more peaks to climb (and make no doubt - they will be climbed). This is a much-deserved LP from one of the most consistent and ever-improving noise acts of our time. Using a theremin as a centerpiece, Rusalka leads us straight into a harsh noise odyssey of oceanic depths - but something is lurking beneath the waves. It's dark. Fog horns sound. A lighthouse is pulsating. Underwater evasion. Capitulation. Receding tides. No respite. These waters run thick.

BARSTOOL MOUNTAIN – III CD
¥1,800
Scream & Writhe (kanada)リリースCD "Texture. A nice word, wouldn’t you say, settling into the audible dis-course with whiffs of sophistication, complexity, depth. The Oxford English Dictionary gives us "the constitution, structure, or substance of anything with regard to its constituents or formative elements". Merriam-Webster offers "the disposition or manner of union of the particles of a body or substance". And here, courtesy Barstool Mountain, III, a deep-dive into fractured reservoirs of textural dis-course, whiffs of smudged sophistication, crusted complexity, substance over style. Nine months on from the maiden ‘Stool drop, the aims of Mattias Gustafsson’s Altar of Flies alter-ego swim into red-rimmed, bleary-eyed focus: less the painstakingly plotted array of elliptical rabbit holes, more the going full brute on the ass. Still as ever moored to that measured sense of deliberation and patience, but distilled to the chase, not so much hurried as harried, frazzled, grizzled, hair askew and sticking, chunks ripping off chunks galore, the dread and thrill of discovery fueling fresh flush-faced lurch through weathered beaten fabrics, brute-conditioned deliberations teasing jeweled moldering gristle-chunks from crusted rippling crunch-pockets. https://absurdexposition.bandcamp.com/album/iii

Kapotte Muziek - Musik Ohne Ende CD Digipak
¥1,800
Tribe Tapes (USA)リリースCD. Originally released 1988 via Prion Tapes Mastered by Nÿland at 4 & Rising Cover by Adrian Gormley "In the 1970s, serious music lovers had a reel-to-reel tape deck. My father certainly loved music and had one to tape classical music off the radio. I recorded my first musical experiments with this machine, fascinated as I was by slowing down the speed so my pieces last longer. Later on, I had some more experience, and my father turned to playing CDs, so the reel-to-reel machine has used a lot less, and I was allowed to drag it upstairs, and I borrowed one from the likewise serious Phillips employee next door. Now having two machines, I was able to create longer loops, which became an overall ingredient in the music of Kapotte Muziek. 'Music Ohne Ende' means 'music without an end', which is what tape-loops are all about, isn't it? The four pieces on this cassette from 1988 are recorded with sound sources mentioned in the titles; metal, feedback, paper and surfaces, and resonances. I remember very little about the recording process, to be honest, but somehow this tape I enjoyed for its instability in sound and the noise of it all. I also used a loop housed in a normal cassette at that time, but those results never captured the same power. For this CD re-issue, there are also three bonus tracks from the same period, using the same tape machines, but more cut-up/collage, cutting tapes and sticking these together in random order." COIL - A Prison of measured Time Mini CD Digipak
¥1,800
Old Europa Cafeリリース Mini CD Digipak CD edition of that special album. The histroy of these tracks is: In 1995 and before I was employed to take tracks home and manipulate the streams to create new content. The way I did this was a process I called “Rate/Stretch, I won’t go into details, but it was very successful at creating whole new content. From these experiments came the “scorn“ dreamspace mix, and much of Black Light District. After we came back from New Orleans working on the “Backwards LP “at Trent Reznor’s studio, Peter Christopherson, asked me to do the same to two tracks, "Heaven’s blade" and "Wir click Wir (Copacaballa)". This was 1998 (a year and a half after we left New Orleans). I started the project, but due to misgivings at the time with the whole music business, I left, and the tracks didn’t get a release. On these tracks you wil get music unheard. 1. John Balance vocals some of which never heard before 2. The trumpet takes we recorded for Wir click Wir, but never had the facility to use.- Danny Hyde Half hour of heavenly doped muzak... Written by B.C.H. Recorded at Creek house , Swanyard and Bushmead studio. Tracklist: 1. Heaven’s Blade - Dark Night Mix 2.
